Location: Monterrey, NL (local candidates only)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 to 16:00
Work model: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days home office – non-negotiable)

Important:
This is a hands-on software engineering role focused on application support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of production systems.
This is NOT a help desk or user support role.
Only candidates currently based in Monterrey and the metropolitan area will be considered.
No relocation support is provided.
No students.

About the role:
We are looking for a Software Engineer to support, maintain, and enhance existing applications across web, API, and backend systems. In this role, you will work on production environments, troubleshoot issues, improve system performance, and contribute to ongoing development and optimization efforts.

You will collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are stable, scalable, and aligned with business needs.

Key responsibilities:
Support and maintain applications across web, API, and backend systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, including performance bottlenecks and defects.
Analyze existing systems and implement improvements for stability and efficiency.
Collaborate with development teams to enhance features and improve code quality.
Work with databases to support data analysis, queries, and system functionality.
Participate in deployments, releases, and application lifecycle activities.
Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required experience:
5–7 years of experience in software development or application support roles.
Strong experience with backend development using .NET and or Python.
Experience working with APIs and service-oriented architectures.
Strong SQL experience (Microsoft SQL Server preferred).
Experience with authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML).
Experience with cloud environments (Azure or AWS).
Experience with version control tools (Git, GitHub) and Agile methodologies.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Fluent English required.

Preferred:
Experience with Entity Framework, LINQ, and Web API development.
Experience with IIS configuration and application deployment.
Experience with mobile development frameworks (Flutter or similar).
Exposure to AI or LLM-related technologies.
Experience writing unit tests and working with modern development tools.
