A leading company in the electronic manufacturing sector is seeking a strategic professional to lead the Asset Protection function. This role is crucial for safeguarding the organizations assets, intellectual property, and international supply chain. CANDIDATE PROFILE AND ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering or Administration (completed). (A Masters degree in Administration, Security, or Risk Management is highly desirable). Minimum Experience: 5 years or more as an Asset Protection Manager, EHS & Security Manager, or similar senior management positions, preferably within the manufacturing industry. Mandatory Command of International Certifications (Logistics & Customs): C-TPAT (Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism). OEA (Authorized Economic Operator - Operador Económico Autorizado). BASC (Business Alliance for Secure Commerce). Proven experience is required in the implementation, auditing, and renewal of these programs. Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing large security teams (supervisors and guards). Proficiency in the supervision and auditing of private security providers. Languages: Advanced Conversational English (Mandatory for direct contact with corporate headquarters and foreign authorities). STRATEGIC OBJECTIVE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Your Mission: To design, implement, and oversee the comprehensive strategy for loss prevention and the protection of physical and intellectual assets, ensuring the security of the supply chain. System Management: Responsible for the Security Management System based on BASC, C-TPAT, and OEA standards. Strategic Leadership: Lead the security team and act as a liaison with managers in Operations, Human Resources, EHS, and Foreign Trade. Logistics Security: Develop and execute strategies for managing cargo transportation, including GPS monitoring, the use of high-security seals, and mitigating theft risks during transit and in staging yards. Business Continuity: Create and execute Emergency Response Plans and BCP (Business Continuity Planning) to manage crisis situations. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the correct management and maintenance of all international standards and certifications (C-TPAT, OEA, BASC). Corporate Goals: Responsible for developing strategies to achieve corporate and departmental objectives. LOCATION AND WORK SCHEDULE: Work Location: Southern area of the Metropolitan Zone of Guadalajara. Schedule: Administrative hours, with flexibility and availability required due to the nature of the position.
