About the Role:

We’re looking for a fantastic Cloud Network Support to join our growing team. If you’re passionate and deeply curious about finding solutions to new challenges and perfecting the design of our visionary Epicor product suite, you could be the perfect fit for this role.

We’re seeking a candidate who has experience in Windows & Unix OSs with VMware & Azure virtualization

What You’ll Do:

Monitor and report on infrastructure growth, health, availability, and utilization (server health metrics [Memory, CPU, I/O, etc.], storage of all types, database health, Web and network utilizations, virtual machines) in addition to discrete application components on Windows & Unix OSs with VMware & Azure virtualization hosted on AWS and Azure cloud offerings
Maintain high system availability via monitoring and proactive issue resolution
Orchestrate the software release process and support upgrade and conversion activities
Tune infrastructure issue detection, alerting, and support mechanisms
Trouble shoot & resolve infrastructure issues
Develop an understanding of the application dependencies upon, and relationships to, infrastructure pertinent to performance and capacity (scalability) issues
Develop and maintain an infrastructure and application health status website
Maintain healthy systems (perform clean ups and performance tweaks)
Create functional documentation to assist co-workers or like skilled individuals with covering your duties and responsibilities
Create automation to manage the infrastructure wherever feasible
Implementing our infrastructure as code and implementing change controls.
Implementing monitoring, observability and alerting tools such as dashboards and logging systems to understand the health and availability of our infrastructure and applications.
Orchestrate the software release process and support upgrade and conversion activities
Optimizing for performance, stability, cost efficiency and scalability.
Collaborating with teammates and working cross-functionally with different engineering teams.
Knowledge of GitOps processes for driving auditable and repeatable changes to infrastructure
Create functional documentation to assist co-workers or like skilled individuals with covering your duties and responsibilities
Support a Web-based SaaS application and related system in partnership with our SaaS Customers ensuring their success.
What You Need to Succeed:

3-5 years of experience supporting infrastructure engineering
Automation of infrastructure management tasks
Cloud engineering experience.
Knowledge of IIS
Demonstrated experience resolving incidents, outages, and being part of an On-Call rotation
Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:

PHP / PowerShell / ARM templates / C# Scripting experience is A+Kubernetes experience is A+Microsoft SQL experience is A+ Azure knowledge
