Position Overview
We are seeking an Accounting/Financial Analyst to join our growing team in Guadalajara. This position will play a crucial role in supporting our sales and manufacturing operations with their bookkeeping and accounting needs.
The ideal candidate will not only manage financial activities but also act as an advisor , ensuring that accounting is configured to meet local compliance, tax regulations and reporting standards. If you have a deep understanding of accounting principles, experience with Business Central, and a proactive approach to process improvement, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle bookkeeping with accurate classification of transactions
• Responsible for the monthly close process and preparation of all related documents and month end balances.
• Responsible for all necessary journal entries, both monthly and year end.
• Prepare daily cash management and reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements complete with supporting analysis (balance sheet and income statement, etc.) in accordance with US GAAP.
• Maintain financial records in accordance with GAAP
• Set up and manage Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P)
• Monitor and manage inventory and assist with purchasing and vendor management.
• Work closely with the operations teams to ensure proper accounting and internal controls are maintained.
• Identify process automation or efficiency opportunities
• Assist in establishing and maintaining company accounting policies and procedures.
• Participate in the forecasting and annual budget process.
• Assist with financial, tax and payroll audit preparations.
• Collaborate with management to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights for decision-making.
• Perform some human resources functions.
• Oversee payroll processes as needed
• Participate in or lead ad hoc projects, as needed.
• Prepare financial analyses and client-ready reports


Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (with professional license)
• Specialization in Tax and Finance (desirable)
• 3+ years of experience. Experience can be a combination of public accounting and private industry experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven accounting experience in manufacturing or industrial plants
• Proven experience with accounting firms (KPMG, Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Mancera Ernst & Young)
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Business Central software is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Business Central
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel and Word.
• Solid understanding of GAAP, financial statement preparation, and accounting theory.
• Experience in bank reconciliations and account control (CFDIs vs. XML) ???

• Bilingual: Spanish and English (written and spoken)
